Development Diary


27.06.01 - Right, now I've got time to work on this. I've written a list of 26 new features to implement before releasign teh next demo, I'm estimating that it'll take about ten days to do these, I've already done the first two: Improved the grass texture and enabled you to click through the company logo at the start of the game. Loads more to go though.

03.06.01 - Okay, work's still continuing on this title. The enemies now have full 360 degree movement for a start. Oh, and I've uploaded a slightly updated demo above.

03.04.01 - I've now uploaded the new updated webpage for Grenade! (You're looking at it) Looks much better than before, the screen shots are a welcome addition. No downloadable demo yet, but that's because I don't want people thinking the game's not as good as I make out, that's because I've got a hundred and one new features to implement (such as machine gun turrets, rocket launchers and air strikes, as well a few other things), but the game will be released in playable demo form soon, so don't worry. Probably be releasing it in a couple of days or so, say Thursday evening, the 5th. Check back then! Until then though, look at the screen shots below to start to get a feel for what the final thing's gonna look like pretty special huh? 29.03.01 - Okay, many new things have happened to this game now. I've spent the last few days doing nothing but work on this, it's shaping up pretty well, there's now a proper main menu for it, a mission breifing screen, fully animated soldiers, different coloured enemy soldiers (to stop the confusion), buildings are now displayed. And virtualy all the other graphics have been given a full overhaul in 3D studio MAX which I've been learning a great deal about the last few nights. I think I've been living up to the company name as the last nights have seen me coding till three or four in the morning (and don't I know it!). But it's all been worth it, as the latest screen shots show. Notice also the overhaul the webpage has been given, I've certainly not been slacking off on anything here!
23.01.01: From just being an idea a week ago, this game's now started to take shape, we've got basic enemies implemented, pistols working, impact grenades, health bars for every character and a million and one ideas to go inot the final game.
This diary will report on how the game's coming along, as well as showing off pictures of characters, weapons, scenary and stuff as we make them. You'll also find pictures of how the final game will look with all these things put together. For now though, check out the games info page: Here
